Vizolution, in partnership with RBS, are delighted to have been announced as finalists at the UK Digital Experience Awards 2020 (UKDXAs) in the Digital Change and Transformation within Financial Services category.
The awards recognise organisations around the UK that are delivering outstanding digital performance and experience, and who strive to surpass customer expectations.
RBS deployed Vizolution's technology to create a digitally-enabled bereavement journey, delivering greater convenience for customers in how they interacted with the bank, at what is already likely to be a challenging time.
Implemented across all channels, the customer has been given more choice in terms of how they interact with the bank and how much human support they would like. By digitising document exchange, the 100% paperless process has been significantly accelerated, with average journeys taking 4 days compared to 27 days in the previous process.
Wendy Doughty, RBS Project Lead within PBB Services, said “we are very proud the introduction of this new service. It has given our bereaved customers the ability to both notify us and upload documents from the comfort of their own home without the need to visit one of our branches – making it simpler for them at a difficult time.”
Vizolution have a long track record of success in the awards - we were finalists in the Banking and Insurance category in 2014, in 2017 we won a silver award for our work with O2 as part their Upgrades and Retentions journey, and last year won the Best Financial Services category, recognising the transformation of RBS's mortgage journey into an entirely paperless process.
The UK Digital Experience Awards final will be held digitally on 16th July 2020 and will be streamed live online.
